| The contact surfaces must be clean, free form grease and dry. | The width of the gasket depends on the nominal width and design of the flange. |

| Overlap the ends in
front of a bolt and tighten the bolts sequentially.
If the contract surfaces are very uneven or badly damaged use the next larger size. It is also possible to line parts of the surface with TEADIT 24B. |
If sealing is particularly difficult (because of movement, vibration, etc.) it is possible to fix two strips of TEADIT 24B redially next to each other. |
